Meilong Tube offers coiled tubing in a wide range of corrosion resistant stainless steels, nickel alloys. We have extensive experience in product supply and innovation in this sector, from the technological advances required for subsea developments in the 1999 to the deepwater challenges of today.

A downhole safety valve that is operated from surface facilities through a control line strapped to the external surface of the production tubing. Two basic types of SCSSV are common: wireline retrievable, whereby the principal safety-valve components can be run and retrieved on slickline, and tubing retrievable, in which the entire safety-valve assembly is installed with the tubing string. The control system operates in a fail-safe mode, with hydraulic control pressure used to hold open a ball or flapper assembly that will close if the control pressure is lost.

Alloy Feature

Corrosion Resistance

Organic acids at high concentrations and moderate temperatures.
Inorganic acids, e.g. phosphoric and sulphuric acids, at moderate concentrations and temperatures. The steel can also be used in sulphuric acid of concentrations above 90% at low temperature.
Salt solutions, e.g. sulphates, sulphides and sulphites.

Application

TP316L is used for a wide range of industrial applications where steels of type TP304 and TP304L have insufficient corrosion resistance. Typical examples are: heat exchangers, condensers, pipelines, cooling and heating coils in the chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper and food industries.
